What will I learn?

Develop a suite of complementary technology, digital media and creative skills. Learn to merge the creative and imaginative with the technical to develop sophisticated and innovative digital products. Diversify your skill set with a range of information technology and creative industries areas of interest including interactive and visual design, screen content production, and creative writing. Pursuing a double degree makes you highly versatile in the job market. You will learn to adapt to various roles and industries, from tech startups to creative agencies.This double degree lets you dive into a melting pot of possibilities and absorb the aspects of creativity that are right for you, allowing you to develop your own creative niche by providing diverse knowledge, creativity and practical skills across a range of selected creative disciplines. It sets you up with skills and experiences to create your own opportunities and career outcomes in the creative sector and beyond. With this degree you are merging your creative and imaginative skills with sophisticated and innovative critical thinking which will give you opportunities in content production, communications, graphic design and games development. The Bachelor of Creative Industries and IT double will prepare you for the real world with studio-based learning, skills in entrepreneurship, real industry challenges, work integrated learning (WIL) opportunities and links to creative start-ups. You can choose from the following creative industries majors creative and professional writing, fashion communication, interactive and visual design and screen content production. As part of your IT degree, you can choose from the following majors computer science and information systems.
