This course will enable you to be multi-skilled in information systems and law, giving you increased marketability in these diverse career fields.
The Bachelor of Laws equips you with the professional legal skills and knowledge required by the Legal Profession Admission Board (LPAB) for admission to legal practice in NSW, and to solve legal and non-legal problems.
Students can undertake specialised study in topical local and international law and practical experiences. In the Information Systems Advanced component of the course, students learn about computing and information technology in a business context.
The course extends learning available in Bachelor of Information Systems through advanced activities including extension projects, hands on business projects and research training. Mentoring and access to some industry partners and research groups will enable students to develop skills and networks that apply directly in industry.
This degree is exclusively for high-achieving students, and will continually challenge you to do even better and build on your academic success. Students in the Advanced degree program are automatically enrolled in The Academy Opens in new window, which offers interdisciplinary leadership programs, professional development and local and international internship and engagement opportunities for students.
Course Structure:
Students must maintain a grade point average of 5 or above to remain in the course. Those who do not maintain this average will be transferred to the Bachelor of Information Systems/Bachelor of Laws.
