About this course

What will I learn?

Throughout study at UniSQ, you will tailor your skills to meet the diverse and evolving requirements of the independent, contemporary musician. The Music Practice major will see you explore individual and collaborative music making, live and digital performance, as well as songwriting, composition and musical arrangement. By focussing on readily available technologies, we enable graduates to develop a sustainable DIY practice to navigate the increasing pace of change and disruption in creative industries, and to produce innovative music practices. UniSQ’s Bachelor of Music can prepare you for careers as a performer, singer-songwriter, studio or classroom music teacher, music studio owner/operator, commercial songwriter, or music journalist.
