It is a requirement of this course for students to complete two field education placements totalling 1,000 hours, helping you graduate with applied skills. The accrediting body may have additional requirements, including minimum English language, to meet professional accreditation standards.

Entry requirements

For international students

Meet the following criteria:

  • Participate in a screening interview (typically by phone though online can be arranged if required); and
  • Be 18 years or above at the date of commencement; or
  • Completion of a Senior Secondary Certificate of Education (or equivalent); or
  • Completion of a Diploma or above (or equivalent); or
  • Admission to an undergraduate degree at an Australian University (or equivalent)

IELTS requirement: Academic IELTS overall band of 7.0 with minimum 7.0 in each band (or equivalent).

Overseas qualifications must be deemed by ACAP as equivalent to Australian qualifications.
