To help you manage your transition to study, our flexible program allows you to customise your subject load – starting with one or two subjects part-time and building to full-time as your confidence grows. Alternatively, you can complete the diploma in just eight months studying full-time and start your chosen bachelor’s degree at the third semester mark.

The Diploma of Business offers you a broad foundation for a range of career opportunities in the corporate sphere. Core subjects provide you with the fundamentals of accounting and marketing. You will gain core skills in managing teams, leadership, communicating in groups, conflict resolution, problem-solving, individual and group decision making, information management, the use of different network technologies, and an understanding of ethics, morals and cultural beliefs. If you are pathwaying to the Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Commerce, or the Bachelor of International Hotel and Tourism Management, you will take Economics. If you are pathwaying to the Bachelor of Sport Management, you will take Sports Development or Enterprise Law.

Successful completion of the Diploma of Business guarantees you a place in most undergraduate degrees at Bond University, including the Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of International Hotel and Tourism Management or Bachelor of Sport Management, with a possible 80 credit points credited towards your new program of study.
