What will I learn?

The Diploma of Health Sciences offers a broad foundation in biological and chemical sciences where you will gain an understanding of basic and applied sciences, including the anatomical, molecular and physiological processes of human health and function. You will develop technical scientific and research skills using some of the latest research equipment, which can be applied across a broad range of industries. Successful completion of the Diploma of Health Sciences program guarantees students a place in the Bachelor of Health Sciences program, with a possible 80 credit points credited towards their degree. Students are advised to check degree study structures online to confirm for which subjects they may receive credit.

On Campus and Remote

Due to current travel restrictions, this program will temporarily be delivered using a mixture of on-campus, remote and multi-modal classes to support and engage all students, from all parts of the world.

The September semester for this program will be delivered in a multi-modal format, with classes designed to support and engage all learners. Whether they’re on campus or abroad, all students will be able to access Bond’s exceptional and personalised learning experience through dynamic and interactive lectures, tutorials, seminars, workshops and lab sessions.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

Applicants must have completed Year 12 or equivalent (in other Australian states). English Language Requirements: IELTS score 6.5 (Writing 6.5, Reading 6.0, Listening 6.0, Speaking 6.0); Test of English as a Foreign Language internet-Based Test: 79; PTE: 58 with a Communicative Skills score in writing 58 or above.

For international students

Applicants must have a successful completion of Year 12 or equivalent. Students from other countries should have country specific requirements equivalent to Australia.

Pass in Bond University College EAP Level 2, or

Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) - 169 (No sub score less than 162); IELTS score Overall 6.0 with no sub score less than 5.5; Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE) - 50; Test of English as a Foreign Language internet-Based Test (TOEFL iBT) – 60
