According to the Australian Government's Job Outlook service, the number of people working as massage therapists has experienced very strong growth and is expected to continue over the coming years. Gain the advanced skills to adapt remedial massage treatments to meet the unique needs of your clients, implement injury prevention strategies and injury specific home care. Other modalities of your training will include muscle energy techniques, myofascial release techniques, joint mobilisation, trigger point therapies, sports-specific massage techniques and deep tissue massage. Successful completion of this course will qualify you to work as a remedial massage therapist as well as giving you the skills to pursue other specialised therapies. On completion of the Diploma you will be eligible for Accreditation as a provider for all private health funds.
