Graduate Certificate in Advanced Nursing - Emergency Nursing: Fees & Entry Requirements at Institute of Health & Management, Australia

Graduate Certificate in Advanced Nursing - Emergency Nursing

Australia

What will I learn?

This specialty course will prepare you to assess nursing needs for patients in emergency situations. Emergency nursing involves knowledge, confidence, and abilities to care for patients successfully. The course promotes nurses to broaden their area of practise by focusing on the evaluation and nursing treatment of critically sick clients in acute care settings. Clinical reasoning abilities and evidence-based specialised nursing knowledge will be used to connect theoretical emergency care knowledge to current nursing practise. The course is delivered online and includes a requirement to work in an emergency care environment under supervision for at least two days each week. The Graduate Certificate in Advanced Nursing – Emergency Nursing will supplement your existing nursing knowledge and abilities and develop critical care nursing methods and specialised skills. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to utilise these skills while caring for patients. The Graduate Certificate in Advanced Nursing also serves as a gateway for individuals interested in pursuing a Master of Nursing degree in Australia, either on-campus or online.
