What will I learn?

The Graduate Certificate of Business is a one-semester course providing students with essential business skills and knowledge. It opens job opportunities in a wide range of businesses. Graduates are ready for many different positions in business. Also designed as an introduction to the Graduate Diploma of Business and subsequently, the Master of Business, the Graduate Certificate of Business provides the opportunity for students to develop skills in marketing communications, economics and effective management principles. Graduates will also be better prepared for further study if they choose to progress in their professional prospects and business skills.Studying at the higher education level can be challenging, but it also offers a rewarding experience. Entry requirements

For international students

Entry is available to applicants who meet the following conditions: A recognised Australian (AQF Level 7) or equivalent Bachelors degree or higher

  • A minimum of five years of relevant work experience, which includes at least three years of management experience, or significant technical experience; OR
  • An Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree (AQF Level 6) or learning equivalent to an AQF Level 6 qualification and at least three years relevant work experience; OR
  • Completion of the Graduate Certificate stage at the Institute (or equivalent at a recognised HEP or University)

*There may be different IELTS requirements depending on your chosen course.
