Designed to provide engineers with the opportunity to specialise in their chosen field, the Master of Advanced Engineering offers streams in both research and industry, enabling you to tailor the course to your needs.Renewable Energy integrates principles of energy production and conversion, electrical and mechanical engineering and materials science with environmental impact assessment, policy and economics, and project management, to equip students with a holistic understanding of designing, implementing, and managing sustainable energy systems. You’ll learn about the operation, benefits, and limitations of the new and emerging forms of energy in the renewable sector. Explore smart grids, system design and energy efficiency while building your understanding of how to integrate these technologies and methodologies into existing power distribution infrastructure and how these technologies modify existing energy markets.

Entry requirements

For international students

A four-year Australian Bachelor of Engineering degree (or equivalent) in a discipline relevant to the specialisation to be studied within the master's course, as approved by the Faculty, with at least high credit (65%) average.
