What will I learn?

Design and implement strategies to mitigate cyber risks and data breaches. With cyber-attacks on the rise globally, organisations need skilled leaders to address and respond to cyber security threats and challenges, proactively manage the risks, and build cyber resilience. Examine real scenarios to identify and solve cyber security related problems. Learn to develop and communicate recommendations for specialist and/or non-specialist audiences while considering multiple perspectives, such as technical, people and organisational impact. Learn to critically examine cybersecurity practices, including the adoption of cyber resilience frameworks, risk assessments, governance strategies, and continuity management planning.

Entry requirements

For international students

An Australian university bachelor's degree, or equivalent or equivalent minimum of 3 years professional work experience (at AQF level 7). For candidates without an acceptable bachelor degree, or equivalent, and who have completed a minimum of three years' professional work experience, UniSQs Graduate Certificate of Information Systems provides an articulation pathway into the Graduate Diploma of Information Systems or the Master of Information Systems upon completion and achievement of a minimum GPA of 4.0.
