This course is designed to prepare ethical and effective health care leaders and managers who will be able to lead health service delivery into the future. The course has a strong focus on strategic organisational management, leading change in health service delivery, clinical redesign and in being a facilitative leader who is able to engage staff on developing innovative quality improvements.
This course will appeal to those who want to develop strong leadership and effective management skills that can be applied across a range of health care environments. The course is offered at master's level only, with exit options being the Graduate Certificate in Health Administration or the Graduate Diploma in Health Administration.

To be eligible for admission to the Master of Leadership and Management in Health Care, an applicant must have completed:
the equivalent of an Australian bachelor's degree in a health or human services related discipline; OR
the equivalent of an Australian Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in Health Administration; OR
the equivalent of an Australian bachelor's degree in any discipline and relevant work experience in a health or human services role.
International English Language Testing System (IELTS): Overall score: 6.5; Individual score of 6.0 in all tests
Pearson Test of English (PTE): 58 with a minimum of 50 in all four communicative skills
Test of English as a Foreign Language - Academic (TOEFL): Internet based total of 79: minimum 21 in writing, 18 in speaking, 13 in reading and 12 in listening
ACU English Language Test: B (65-74%)
Cambridge Advanced English (CAE): Overall CAE score: 176; Individual score of at least 169 in all tests
