What will I learn?

Prepare for a career as a health professional by exploring the complex relationship between physical, medical and social well-being. This unique interdisciplinary degree program introduces students to a multidisciplinary understanding of health, wellness, and the prevention and treatment of illness through courses across Psychology, Biology, Kinesiology, Sociology, and the Trent/Fleming School of Nursing. A strong emphasis on research, community-based learning, and practical application means youll develop a solid foundation for interpreting data and how to apply it to challenging health issues. You will also develop the critical and analytical thinking skills needed to become a health and wellness leader, integrating behavioural theories into real-world scenarios and applications.

Entry requirements

For international students

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)
  • A minimum of six High School diploma4U or 4M courses, including program specific prerequisites

English Language Proficiency Tests:

  • TOEFL: minimum score of 86 IBT with a minimum writing score of 20.
  • IELTS: minimum score of 6.5, with no band below 6.0
  • CAEL: minimum score of 60
  • Cambridge B2 First, C1 Advanced/C2 Proficiency (Certificate of Advanced English): 176, with no sub-score below 169
  • Pearson PTE Academic: minimum score of 59.
  • The Duolingo English Test score of 115
