What will I learn?

If you care about equality and inclusion, if you are curious how ideas about gender and sexuality impact society, or if you want to learn about how social movements and political activism can change the world, then you will enjoy courses in GSWS. Our vision is to bring feminist, queer, and intersectional understandings to the analysis of power and how it operates.The Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies program in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences offers a major, an extended minor, a minor, and joint majors with several other programs in the Faculty. Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies is committed to cultivating innovation, intellectual freedom, social justice activism, diversity, and transformative resistance to inequality.

Entry requirements

For international students

Official International High school Transcripts required.Submit a transcript which includes grades for all courses completed and final grades for the first semester of Senior Year. Graduation from a university-preparatory program at a senior high school. International Baccalaureate IB Diploma is required. You must successfully complete the full IB Diploma, including at least 3 HL courses
