What will I learn?

Educators don’t just teach subject matter, they guide and support students on pathways of learning. As an educator, your role changes from class to class, semester to semester, year after year. Education is for passionate individuals who envision lasting positive changes in their local communities and across the world. Students must complete a Bachelor’s degree before applying to the B.Ed. degree. Our program includes 60 credit hours of coursework and in-school teaching experience.UNB’s Faculty of Education offers specialized areas of study in education, second language education, art, drama, mathematics, physical education, science, social studies, and early childhood education. With UNB’s hands-on practicum approach, you’ll receive the opportunity to turn classroom theory into practice right away. If travel is of interest to you.

Entry requirements

For international students

Students must have completed a recognized secondary (high school) credential in your country. International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) - English Language, English First Language, English Literature (other literature-based language courses will be considered) 4 electives from group 1. 1 elective from group 1, 2 or 3. Overall average of C or higher in the subjects above required for most programs. International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) - English A: Language & Literature (other languages will be considered). 4 electives from group 1 1 elective from group 1, 2 or 3. Overall average of 3 or higher required for most programs.
