What will I learn?

This combined program allows you to complete two degrees – a Bachelor of Kinesiology, and a Bachelor of Education (Elementary) – in just five years. By studying Kinesiology, you’ll gain expertise in human movement, exercise science, and athletic movement, preparing you for a variety of related careers in teaching and sport. The Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport and Recreation gives you access to all the state-of-the-art learning, research and athletic facilities at the University of Alberta, while offering small class sizes and specialized, interactive programs. With every degree program you’ll gain foundational career skills and the opportunity to take classroom concepts into work environments.

Entry requirements

For international students
