What will I learn?

For undergraduates, UNB Civil Engineering offers a comprehensive program through a variety of courses, labs, and extracurricular activities and groups. With a large number of technical electives in the final year of the program, our students can specialize in a particular discipline within civil engineering or cover a broad range of topics for a more general degree. We also offer a co-op option so you can gain valuable work experience as you complete your degree.Water and environmental engineering integrate a range of interests, from the microbiology of wastewater treatment to the mathematics of hydraulic systems analysis. You could work on supplying safe drinking water systems, the design of environmental protection works such as wastewater treatment plants, and related environmental industries.

Entry requirements

For international students

Students must have completed a recognized secondary (high school) credential in your country. International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) - English A: Language & Literature (other languages will be considered). Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches (SL) or Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation (SL). Chemistry. Biology, 1 elective from group 1. Each subject passed with a minimum grade of B. Overall average of B or higher in the subjects above. International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) - English A: Language & Literature (other languages will be considered) Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches (SL) or Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation (SL). Chemistry. Biology1 elective from group 1 Each subject passed with a minimum grade of 4 with an overall average of 4 or higher
