As a Food Science student, you will learn the skills and nuances of the industry to contribute to the food system and be able to work anywhere in the world.The Co-op program in Food Science is a five-year program, including four work terms, and provides valuable work experience in the Food Science field to help boost your resume, gain additional skills and develop meaningful connections.As a Food Science student, you will apply chemistry, microbiology and physics to the processing and development of new food products and processes.Learn in world-class facilities from top-notch faculty and obtain hands-on experience in the industrial processes such as formulation, pasteurization, sterilization, fermentation, and packaging.This program covers the aspects of food science, including nutrition, sensory evaluation, product development and marketing.
