What will I learn?

Develop the versatile management skills and in-depth knowledge you need to succeed in heavy, industrial, commercial and residential construction. Through the Construction Management program, you’ll combine technology, science, leadership and management skills to plan projects and overcome industry challenges. In addition, your training will comply with Canadian codes, laws and regulations and help you develop sustainable building practices. This program is best suited for people already working in areas related to the skilled trades, engineering or engineering technologies. The knowledge and skills developed in this program will also help you prepare for the Canadian Construction Association Gold Seal exams, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Associate exam and the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (CIQS) national accreditation exam.As you advance through the program, you can choose to finish at one of four exit points based on your career goals:After completing Year 1 – Exit the program with a Civil Technician certificate After completing Year 2 – Exit the program with a Construction Technician certificate After completing Year 3 – Exit the program with a Construction Technology diploma After completing Year 4 – Exit the program with a Bachelor of Technology, Construction Management degree
