The Hellenic Studies Program offers a wide selection of courses in Ancient, Byzantine, Early Modern and Modern Greek History, in addition to Archaeology and Greek language training. In-person seminars and lectures are supplemented by online courses and blended classrooms and students have the option of taking part in a Hellenic Studies Field School to Greece.The Hellenic Studies certificate in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences is offered by the Hellenic Studies Program.Global Humanities courses appeal to students who are curious about many diverse areas such as classical and medieval studies, modern thought and culture, Renaissance humanism, and eastern and western religions. Crossing disciplinary boundaries, students will learn to pose questions and address concerns central to understanding the human condition.
