What will I learn?

Build the skills and knowledge you need to support computer systems, set up networks and start a successful, entry-level network technology career. The Network Services Technician program is designed for individuals who wish to start an entry-level career in network technology – no previous experience is required. Through this certificate program, you will build a broad set of basic skills and explore several key network technology areas, including client and server operating systems, network equipment and cable plan infrastructure, wireless local area networks (LAN), voice-over-internet protocol (VoIP) and computer hardware support. You’ll also build a strong foundation for lifelong career growth and develop the practical, up-to-date skills that allow you to quickly start a career in corporate networking or small and home office (SOHO) networking.In this program, you will gain the practical skills you need to set up, troubleshoot and maintain computers and computer networks professionally. Learn to set up and troubleshoot network hardware and infrastructure and install, maintain and support client software using Windows and Linux operating systems. Build on fundamental network infrastructure skills and learn to install and maintain VoIP systems, wireless networks and server software using Windows and Linux operating systems.
