The Administrative major provides you with the computer skills and business knowledge necessary to become an integral part of the business world. Technology is an essential part of this program. You are trained with current software programs to process and to manage information efficiently and perform many complex office functions.The Office Assistant program of study consists solely of prescribed courses you do not take electives or options. The courses must be completed in the order presented in the program of study. The schedule is set by the program and courses can only be completed in the term they are offered.

Applicants must have ELA 30-1 or ELA 30-2 with a minimum grade of 65 percent (or equivalent).

Applicants must be 20 years of age or older and have been out of full-time high school at least one year by the beginning of the intake term. Applicants must have ELA 30-1 or ELA 30-2 with a minimum grade of 65% (or equivalent).

Applicants with nine or more post-secondary credits must also present a minimum Admission Grade Point Average (AGPA) of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
