What will I learn?

Combine your creativity with versatile production skills and start a successful career creating video content and transforming a multitude of media across various industries. This is a specialization program. To apply, you must complete the one-year Digital Media Design certificate program or show equivalent experience. Digital Media Design – Video and Motion Graphics prepares you for a successful career as a motion graphic designer, animator, filmmaker, compositor and visual effects (VFX) artist, editor and cameraperson. In this program, you’ll develop fundamental design and animation techniques, efficient technical workflows, and creative storytelling skills while building versatile video production skills and recording, editing and compositing original footage. You’ll sharpen your practical skills using Adobe Creative Cloud software (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Audition, Illustrator, Photoshop), Cinema 4D and DaVinci Resolve and explore our collection of state-of-the-art camera gear, including lenses, lights, audio kits, tripods, sliders, stabilizers and more. Through Digital Media Design – Video and Motion Graphics, you’ll learn to take advantage of the increasing demand for video content and motion graphics across industries, creating content for the many organizations that want web and social media videos, animations, personality profiles, brand-awareness ads, video tutorials, event trailers, logo animations and music videos.

An interim transcript confirming enrolment in the required courses The regular admission requirement for all College programs (excluding upgrading and introduction programs and those programs requiring post-secondary education) is a Grade 12 or mature student high school diploma including any pre-requisite courses identified in the program admission requirements.
