What will I learn?

Students in the Game Art and Design Diploma program build rock-solid skills in design, level design, game scripting, written communication, as well as 2D and 3D art. Students learn to write professional design documentation, design games, game systems, game mechanics and level environments, as well as apply knowledge to create their own interactive experiences. Students also have the opportunity to develop professional quality production work to showcase in a portfolio project.

Entry requirements

For international students

Prospective students who wish to attend LaSalle College Vancouver and do not qualify as a mature student must have successfully completed the requirements for secondary school graduation or equivalent, as set by the recognized legal authority in the jurisdiction where secondary school was completed.

IELTS (Academic): 5.5

TOEFL iBT: 75

Cambridge: B2 First 162+

PTE-A Pearson: 45 with min. 51 in writing

Duolingo: 85-90

Level completion from an accepted language school

55 percent in English 12, English Literature 12, English 12 First Peoples, Communications 12 or Technical and Professional Communications 12 or equivalent.
