In our MASc program, we emphasize research-intensive, sustainability-focused and interdisciplinary work. You’ll pursue advanced studies, carry out independent research, and may work on creative civil engineering design under faculty supervision.Students in this program will:expand their disciplinary and interdisciplinary knowledge through coursework and informal learningidentify a research question addressing a gap in knowledge or design in civil engineering, broadly defineddesign experiments, field work or data analysis methods to address the research questionproduce original research that advances understanding of civil engineering-related topicscommunicate research findings and their novelty and impact through oral presentations and written publicationsdisplay and exemplify ethical and professional conduct becoming of the engineering profession

Entry requirements

For international students

Applicants normally have an undergraduate degree in civil engineering. We require a four-year (60 units) baccalaureate degree (or equivalent) from a recognized institution with a B+ average (6.0/9.0 GPA) in the last two years (30 units) of academic study.4-year bachelors degree (or equivalent) from a recognized institutionEquivalent of a minimum “B” average over the last two years of your degree
