What will I learn?

Carleton’s MA program is unique in Canada in its unrivalled ability to combine classroom work with on-site training at national museums and related institutions. Our program focuses on visual culture and critical approaches, including the study of art’s institutional contexts and engaging the dynamic nature of art history at the turn of the 21st century.A Collaborative Specialization in Digital Humanities is available. As well, you might want to consider our graduate diploma in Curatorial Studies. It’s available to Carleton graduate students at a master’s or PhD level, as well as for students who wish to supplement their academic qualifications with practical training, or for practitioners who wish to upgrade their knowledge and skills.
