Combine advanced engineering knowledge with managerial skills for a competitive advantage in the global marketplace. Designed for those with an undergraduate degree in Engineering, the combined MBA/MEng Program positions you to take a leadership role in business. For the past 85 years, the Faculty of Engineering has been at the forefront of research and innovation. With over 3,000 engineering students, over 130 teaching faculty, and eight engineering facilities on campus, the University of Alberta is one of the largest engineering schools in Canada. The Faculty of Engineering has educated outstanding engineers who have helped to build a successful province and a better world. The Faculty has Canada's only undergraduate program in petroleum engineering and has committed to developing world-class research in such areas as pulp and paper technology and process control and micro-electro-mechanical systems. Entry requirements

For international students

The language of instruction at the University of Alberta is English. Applicants who do not hold an undergraduate degree from a recognized institution in which the language of instruction is English are required to provide an official result from a test of (ELP). A list of ELP exempt institutions is available through the Faculty of Graduate Studies. If your institution is not listed on the exemption list, but you did complete your undergraduate degree with English as the medium of instruction, we can consider your application without a test of (you may still be asked to provide one).
