What will I learn?

This cohort-based program develops the research capacity and leadership skills of educators who are currently working in diverse educational contexts and will equip them for innovative practice in their contexts. The graduates of our program are well placed to make carefully considered and evidence-based decisions as educational leaders across B.C. and Canadian educational systems.Working professionals who are currently engaged in post-secondary, adult education, or similar areas of education. Designed with working professionals in mind, this two-year degree program offers the opportunity to obtain a high-quality master's degree. Our cohort-based model allows students to work through the program and coursework together (15 students). This program is designed to allow students to focus on improvement of practice through the study of educational theory, philosophy and practice.

Entry requirements

For international students

a bachelor's degree from Simon Fraser University or its equivalent with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0/4.33 (B), or a grade point average of at least 3.33/4.33 (B+) based on the last 60 units of undergraduate/graduate courses from a recognized institution. submitted evidence, usually references from qualified referees, of the applicants ability to undertake advanced studies in the area of interest.
