What will I learn?

UNBs education graduate program provides students with the knowledge and experiences to make a difference while advancing their careers and educational interests. Students enjoy our small class sizes while benefitting from personal attention from top-quality instructors engaged in a wide range of research. Our flexible programs are designed to suit the needs of both full-time students and working professionals, with evening, online and summer courses that are designed to allow learners to fulfil their own needs, interests, and aspirations. Students can choose to study full- or part-time.Duration: A course-based degree consists of 10 courses a project/report-based degree consists of eight courses plus a report and a thesis-based degree consists of five courses plus a thesis. MEd students must complete the degree within five years of their first registration, and PhD students must complete the degree within seven years of their first registration.Entry Terms: Fall, Winter, Summer

Entry requirements

For international students

Applicants to the MEd in Adult Education are required to hold a four-year undergraduate degree with a grade point average of at least 3.0 (B, or equivalent). They must also have the equivalent of two years of full-time practical experience working in relevant aspects of adult education.

International applicants whose first language is not English must submit language scores that meet or exceed:

International English language testing system (IELTS) = band 7 in all categories

Paper-based TOEFL = 650

Computer-based TOEFL = 280

TWE = 5.5

The MEd in Critical Studies program deadline dates are Dec. 1 (intended start date in May or September) and July 31 (intended start date in January).
