What will I learn?

Industrial Engineering is at the heart of the systems that are essential to our society. From airlines to online retailers from hospitals to manufacturers from telecommunication companies to world-wide shipping companies industrial engineers design solutions to improve the performance of complex systems of people technology and information. Students entering this program come from a variety of backgrounds including Industrial Engineering Mechanical Engineering Mathematics and others. Each student is provided with a personal work area in one of the graduate student offices. Ample computer resources are available and many students are also provided with teaching and research assistantships. The Master of Engineering (MEng) is a coursework degree requiring at least seven courses one graduate seminar and a project. The MEng is a professionally-oriented degree.An MEng project must show the students ability to carry through to completion a project of a credible level of difficulty that draws on the knowledge and experience gained through advanced undergraduate and graduate industrial engineering course work.
