About this course

What will I learn?

Dalhousies CAMPEP (Commision on Accreditation of Medical Physics) acredited masters program in Medical Physics combines course and research work that builds critical knowledge in the field with hands-on training that prepares students for rewarding careers.Courses in the program provide students with the medical physics foundations specified within the CAMPEP standards. All required coursework is completed in the first year and students focus on their thesis research in the second year.MSc graduates may go on to pursue PhD degree programs enter residency training programs in imaging or therapeutic medical physics or enter the workforce directly.The MSc program in Medical Physics is two years in duration. Core coursework has been designed to satisfy CAMPEP standards and is completed in the first year of study. Thesis research is completed during the second year and is to be completed by the end of the Summer term.
