What will I learn?

Research on the correlation between specific genetic mutations and disease development and progression provides tools to enable health care teams to select best treatment strategies for their patients. Currently our research teams are studyingmolecular and cellular biology of ion channelslysosomal ion channelstransportersgrowth factors tumour suppressors and cancerRNA-directed epigenetic regulation of gene expressionrole of neuropeptide VIP in respiratory diseasesmolecular analysis of cystic fibrosisepidemiology of cystic fibrosis in the Maritimes and medication adherence
