Entry requirements

For international students

Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, including these required courses:

One English, Grade 12 (ENG4C or ENG4U) plus

One Math Grade 12 (C* or U) or Math Grade 11 Functions (MCR3U) or Functions and Applications (MCF3M) (*Applicants presenting with Math MAP4C require a minimum 70%) or

Mature student status.

English Proficiency Requirements

IELTS - overall score 6.0 with no individual band below 5.5

TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language) and TOEFL iBT Home Edition (DI Code: 9117) - overall score 80 with no individual section below 20

iTEP Academic - overall score 3.7

PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English) online or in person - overall score 58 with no individual section below 49

Duolingo English Language Test - overall score of 105 with no individual subscore lower than 85

Cambridge English Test Exams (B2 First/C1 Advanced/C2 Proficiency score) - overall Cambridge English Scale score 169 with no individual score below 162

CAEL (Canadian Academic English Language) online or in person - overall score 60 with no individual section below 50

Sheridan EPA test - Listening Band - 4.0 Reading Combined Band - 4.0 Writing - CLB 7

Sheridan's ESL program EAP level - A minimum score of 70% in listening and speaking and 70% in reading and writing. General Education courses and Navigating Digital Environments (INFO) minimum required grade of 50%.
