Ontario College Graduate Certificate in Public Relations - Integrated Communications (Optional Co-op): Fees & Entry Requirements at Conestoga College, Canada
Graduates of the Public Relations - Integrated Communications program will deal with the needs of organizations to develop and execute strategic integrated communication plans that inform, motivate, and gain support from the public and contribute to organizational communications objectives. This integrated communication process relies on researching public behaviour and developing targeted strategies from a variety of disciplines into a cohesive plan. Students will write and design professional digital, print and graphic communications tactics, of their own creative work. Students will conduct research with an emphasis on analysis and assess the implications of public relations, marketing, advertising, social media, direct marketing and branding. The final term includes an individual client-based capstone project that links learning with real-world application, implementing all the strategies learned through the program. The importance of business ethics leadership professional relationships and development and professional societies in the broad communications field will be emphasized throughout the program.

Entry requirements
For international students
A two- or three-year diploma or a degree from an accredited college or university in a related field
Preference may be given to applicants with degrees in communications, English, political science, journalism, public relations, and general arts and science programs where course work included marketing and communications.
Preference may be given to applicants with diplomas in marketing, advertising, public relations, event management, and journalism.
Applicants with 5+ years of experience in the marketing communications field with no post-secondary credential will be considered.
Applicants not meeting the credential requirement must submit a resume and work-related references. Please submit these documents directly to the Conestoga Admissions Office.
