This Ontario College Graduate Certificate will enhance your software development skills while deepening your strategic thinking and knowledge of software quality assurance from the point of view of an end user, a developer, and a business. You will deepen your understanding of the testing paradigms, methodologies, and tools utilized throughout modern software development processes that build and sustain high-quality software. Taught by faculty with multi-tier industry experience, you will also be exposed to a comprehensive range of modern test engineering approaches, including automated testing, cybersecurity testing, and test plan strategies. In one year, this program will prepare you to be career ready for the in-demand field of software quality assurance and test engineering. To support your success in this competitive industry, students who meet specified requirements will have an opportunity to pursue an optional 420-hour co-op work term.
