What will I learn?

This accelerated Radiography training course has been developed to allow graduates from a wide variety of academic backgrounds to study with us. The content of this programme has been developed with respect to national requirements for radiography training as published by CORU, the Health and Social Care Professions Regulator, and by the Irish Institute of Radiography and Radiation Therapy IIRT. As such, the programme supports robust learning of the underpinning core sciences and facilitates knowledge and skills development across the spectrum of radiographic and imaging techniques.Students will be taught by our dedicated team of over 25 lecturers and clinical training is enhanced by the inclusion of our new state-of-the- art virtual reality training equipment and X-ray suite facilities on the UCD campus.Length of Course:2.5 Years

Entry requirements

For international students

The 2.5-year graduate entry programme is open to applicants who hold an NFQ Level 8 degree at the minimum award level of 2.2 or equivalent, which includes research activity (module thesis) to a minimum of 5 ECTS. Applicants are also required to have a Science subject at minimum level Irish Leaving Certificate O6, IB Standard Level 4, GCSE Grade C or equivalent.
