What will I learn?

Study a specialised law degree in criminal justice at Ireland's leading private college and open the doors to a world of opportunities. This Programme is for school leavers as well as mature learners who wish to attain a specialised Law degree in the area of Criminal Justice. The programme develops within learners critical, analytical, research and communications skills in both an academic and clinical context and fosters learners’ ability to work effectively whether as a team member or independently. As learners progress over three years, they build on their knowledge of core legal subjects to attain increasing specialisation in their chosen field, including a number of elective module options. Course Highlights: The Programme covers all core modules needed to progress towards a professional legal qualification at the Honorable Society of King’s Inns or the Law Society of Ireland. An opportunity to attain recognised specialisation at the undergraduate level through a range of dedicated modules in the important and exciting field of Criminal Justice. Learners attain both a high level of academic knowledge and all-important practical, clinical legal skills suitable to a range of employment and further study on graduation. The opportunity for learners to apply to work with the internationally renowned Innocence Project, based in Ireland, exclusively at Griffith College, as a 10 ECTS module in Year 3 of the Programme. A flexible range of study modes allows learners to take the programme on a full-time basis on campus, part-time on campus (Griffith College Cork only) or, for mature learners, a choice of two different blended learning options.
