This programme allows students to acquire knowledge and advanced practical skills in relevant fields of medical imaging. Graduates will be equipped with analytical, research and critical reflection skills, in order to drive improvements in medical imaging healthcare services or in industry.This joint Masters is targeted towards:Practicing radiographersRadiation therapistsProfessionals working in the field of medical imagingThe programme provides an alternative to the modality specific Masters programmes and allows students to tailor a programme to their specific needs and interests.As part of this course, students will undertake a combination of modules including:Research Methods StatisticsResearch DissertationStudents may also tailor the course to their own individual needs or interests by selecting elective modules from UCD and partner institutions. This flexible approach facilitates travel to partner universities in the European Union. It also caters to students who wish to remain in Ireland for the duration of the course through the provision of distance learning options.12 - 16 months
