What will I learn?

The BCom/BDes conjoint gives you an advantage in business and enterprise as you develop skills to be proactive in ever-changing markets with ever-changing technologies. You can pursue your own interests in a flexible business degree offering a variety of majors. At the same time, you will learn how to research, prototype, test and implement different solutions to business problems, using real-world and imagined scenarios. Emerging and future technologies will require business nous and design savvy to apply in business. The BCom/BDes gives you the commercial and creative grounding to pursue exciting entrepreneurial careers. Design is increasing in importance for organisations of all sizes. The ability to respond to market trends and stay ahead of competitors requires companies to invest heavily in design teams. Coupled with specialist commercial knowledge developed in the BCom major of your choice, you will graduate with a multifaceted skill set applicable in, and desired by, many industries.This area of study considers the roles of human and labour factors in organisations management theory policies and practices and employment relations issues in New Zealand and internationally. Your studies in Management will give you a broad understanding of organisational structure, design, ethics and culture the critical issues that arise in people and process management and employment law.

Entry requirements

For international students

International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum total score of 24.General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level. You must have completed a minimum of three A-Level subjects. Cambridge International Examinations (CIE). You must have completed a minimum of three A-level subjects.
