What will I learn?

The Bachelor of Science with Honours degree is made up of one full-time year of coursework that includes a research component. Subject areas range from Astronomy to Statistics, and you may complete the programme in two subjects if desired (combined honours). For more information about why you should consider studying a postgraduate Science programme at UC, see the Postgraduate Prospectus. Mathematicians and statisticians are developing new tools and techniques to deal with problems in areas from business management to biology, as well as considering new insights in the more traditional areas of physical science and engineering – meaning the versatility and marketability of these skills increases every year.
