Masseys Bachelor of Speech and Language Therapy with Honours will set you up for a rewarding career working alongside people of all ages with speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties. As a speech-language therapist youll facilitate independence in individuals. Youll assess children, young people and adults with a variety of communication and swallowing disorders and work with them to improve their ability to participate in school, work and other daily activities. You may work with children who have speech andor language disorders, or adults living with a traumatic brain injury or stroke. Youll have an impact on peoples quality of life. Masseys Bachelor of Speech and Language Therapy with Honours combines academic coursework with supervised clinical experience. Youll work alongside practising speech-language therapists to gain clinical hours in a wide range of settings.
