This one-year certificate gives you a taste of university life, and helps you develop the knowledge and skills for further study at bachelor's level.The Certificate in Science and Technology gives you an introduction to the main areas involved in studying engineering, computing or mathematics. It prepares you for further study at bachelor’s level. It's also a good option if you’re returning to study and want to develop your study skills. There are three pathways: Computing – leading to the Bachelor of Computer and Information Sciences, Engineering – leading to the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and Bachelor of Engineering Technology, Mathematics – leading to the Bachelor of Science. All students complete the Academic Literacies course. Your other courses will be chosen to complement your pathway and the entry requirements of your proposed future degree studies. For example, engineering students focus on physics and mathematics, and computing students cover mathematics, problem solving and programming.
