What will I learn?

The Foundation Certificate (International Accelerated) pogramme will help improve your English and academic skills, and prepare you for undergraduate study at Massey University. Entry requirements into the accelerated programme are higher than the Foundation Certificate (International) programme because it has a shorter duration of 4 months. On successful completion of the Certificate, you are guaranteed admission to all unrestricted University undergraduate programmes listed below. For undergraduate programmes with restrictions or selected entry criteria, students will need to meet these programme admission requirements in addition to successful completion of a Foundation Certificate.

Entry requirements

For international students

Completion of Advanced Subsidiary (AS) Levels with 2D and 1C grades in academic subjects; or GCE Advanced (A) Levels with 2 D grades; or Completion of Year 2 of the International Baccalaureate (IB) with 18 points across 6 subjects; or Completion of a Foundation Program from a recognised institution (must follow completion of an accepted Year 12 (or equivalent) program) with 65% average; or Completion of the General Education Diploma (GED) (min 165 in 2 subjects and min 145 in 2 subjects)
