What will I learn?

This graduate diploma is designed for professionals, including secondary school teachers, who want to update their knowledge of current technologies and applications of science, or computer and mathematical sciences. The Graduate Diploma in Science also prepares students for postgraduate study in an area of science, or computer and mathematical sciences in which they were not originally trained.

You choose papers from the Bachelor of Science to make up a total of 120 points. At least 75 points must be at level 7. You can include 30 points from any other bachelor’s degree (with approval f the programme leader).

Entry requirements

For international students

A bachelor's degree OR
Relevant professional qualification or experience approved by the dean (or representative) to be equivalent to a bachelor's degree

English Language Requirements:

IELTS (Academic) 6.5 overall with all bands 6.0 or higher; or equivalent; TOEFL iBT score of 90; Certificate in English for Academic Study (CertEAS) with A grade; AUT Academic English with B+ grade; CAE minimum overall score of 176; PTE minimum overall score of 58.
