Programme structure

This flexible, 120-point taught programme allows you to design a personalised curriculum to suit your circumstances, learning objectives and career aspirations.

The Engineering Management Project (Project M), a compulsory 45-point component, lasts for two semesters. It is a key learning experience of the programme with two options: working directly within a company to solve a business-related problem (this requires consent from a host company); or a case study project that applies research approaches to industry issues.

The remaining 75 points of your degree are built from elective courses from the MEMgt schedule. You may take: three Faculty of Engineering and two Business School courses to pursue an engineering focus; or three Business School and two Faculty of Engineering courses if you’d like to create a business-focused programme.

Where could this programme take you?
