Summary

The PGDipArts is an alternative to the Bachelor of Arts (Honours). This programme might be for you if you want to undertake advanced study without writing a dissertation, if honours degrees aren’t recognised in your country, or if you would like to study part-time over a longer period.

You can use a completed PGDipArts with a GPA of 5.0 or higher as an entry qualification for the one-year Master of Arts.

Criminology

Criminology focuses on both the causes of crime and the different ways societies respond to deviance.

Criminology is concerned not just with crime, but with the broader issues of social control and deviance and how these affect punishment and criminal justice.

You can study topics including restorative justice, cybercrime, penology, gender, policing, prisons, cultural criminology, justice policies and indigenous perspectives.

Where can Criminology take you?
