What will I learn?

With a growing demand for skilled project managers both within New Zealand and globally, the PGDipEPM will help you develop the ability to apply the principles, concepts and ideas that define project management across a range of industries.As a graduate of this programme, you’ll be well-equipped to apply these principles to real-world scenarios with a critical and reflective approach. You’ll also be eligible to apply for registration with the Project Management Institute (PMI).The PGDipEPM is a 120-point taught programme suited to students who are interested in pursuing a qualification in engineering project management exclusively through taught courses. It is available to study both on-campus and online.This programme can also serve as a pathway into our existing Master of Engineering Project Management (MEPM) programme – a popular qualification which is offered both on-campus and online. Like the MEPM, the PGDipEPM has an optional specialisation in Health Projects.

Entry requirements

For international students

You must have completed an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline at a recognised university (or similar institution) with a GPE of 3.0. Relevant disciplines include applied science, architecture, commerce, construction, engineering, information technology, science and technology. You will also need at least two years' professional engineering experience, approved by the Associate Dean Postgraduate Taught.
