What will I learn?

Our Advanced Manufacturing masters degree prepares you for high-value engineering roles in modern manufacturing, automation and industrial innovation or for progression into research-led careers. You will gain the advanced technical and professional skills needed to analyse, optimise and design manufacturing systems that respond to global challenges in digitalisation, automation and sustainability. You’ll develop a strong engineering foundation with specialist expertise in robotics and automation, advanced manufacturing technologies and the mechanics of materials. Learning is hands-on, with an emphasis on practical problem-solving, industry-relevant case studies and project-based assessments that reflect real manufacturing environments.

Entry requirements

For international students

Normally a 2.2 and above in an engineering subject. If you have a degree in another numerate technical discipline including physics and chemistry your application will be assessed individually.
