Qualifications available

This degree can be studied as an MSc, PGDip or PGCert. The MSc in Applied Sports Nutrition is achieved through the completion of 180 credits: 120 from the taught modules and a further 60 credits for the dissertation.

You will need to accrue 120 credits for the PGDip and 60 credits for the PGCert.

This programme is suitable for individuals wishing to pursue a career in applied sports nutrition. The programme has been designed around a range of specialist modules to develop core knowledge and applied skills in the area of sport nutrition.

Entry requirement for international students

Students need to have a first degree (2:2) in a related field is required. Related fields include: Nutrition, Dietetics, Sports Science, Sports and Exercise Physiology, Sports Rehabilitation, Physiotherapy, Sports Coaching and Strength and Conditioning. Relevant and appropriate experience will be considered. All applicants are expected to demonstrate interest, enthusiasm and continuous professional development in the field of sports nutrition. Students whose first Language is not English, they need to have an IELTS score of 6.5 overall with no less than 6.0 in any section (or equivalent). iBT TOEFL: 88 overall with 20 in reading, 19 in listening, 21 in speaking and 20 in writing.
