What will I learn?

Building upon Wrexham University’s long history of teacher training, local school links and expertise we have joined with St. Mary’s, Twickenham to offer ‘Outstanding’ OFSTED rated teacher training. This BA (Hons) Primary Education teaching degree will enable you to gain all the skills and knowledge required to teach in a primary school.You will:Upon successful training, be recommended for the Department for Educations’ award of Qualified Teacher Status. Learn how to educate and inspire future generations.Gain the perfect foundation for future pathways such as educational leadership.Gain an in-depth knowledge of primary education with three years to acquire the relevant knowledge and skills needed to be an outstanding teacher.Spend a minimum of six weeks in school each year where you progress from teaching small groups to whole classes.Complete placements in schools that are organised by the programme team to ensure that you receive the appropriate level of support.Receive support from a passionate and caring team of experienced tutors who strive for excellence in the theory and practice of teaching.

Entry requirements

For international students

Grade 4/C or equivalent in GCSE English, mathematics and science are required. GSCSE equivalents are offered by St Marys University. UCAS points: 96 - 104 A Levels BCC-CCC BTEC. BTEC Extended Diploma DMM-MMM
